Rental Terms & Conditions

All rental bike contracts are with Zypernbike

 

Required

Pre-reservations at least 2 weeks prior rental date

Permanent holiday address in Cyprus (e.g. hotel) required

Personal pick-up service with presentation of passport or ID-card

Deposit:  €200 cash on site

 

Rental Agreement:

Minimum rental period:   1 week

Minimum rental price is One Weeks rental.

We reserved the right to change Bike components, fittings, brands, prices and availability. 

We offer  top quality full carbon racing bikes (no aluminium Bikes)

All racing bikes are equipped with a compact crankset

 

The terms of business of Lifestyle Intertravel Ltd., Paralimni, Cyprus apply. Eventually differing regulations in this section “rental conditions” take precedence.

 

Booking

Reservation must be made at the "Zypernbike“ travel agency only and by using the reservation form on this website. Resrvations on site  at the “Zypernbike” bike station are not possible.

 

Reservation/Confirmation/Payment

By making a reservation, the customer makes a binding offer for a rental agreement with, "Zypernbike“. The reservation must be made on our reservation form. The reservation is made by the 'Tenant' for all customers cited in the reservation form for whose, and his,contractual obligations the 'Tenant' vouches to, in so far as he has accepted a corresponding separate obligation by explicit and separate declaration. The rental agreement becomes binding on acceptance by “Zypernbike”. The acceptance is effected by the receipt of the written reservation confirmation by e-mail to the 'Tenants' e mail address, or an e-mail address named by the 'Tenant'.The 'Tenant' is bound to the order of reservation for 1 week. If the content of the reservation confirmation differs from the content of the order of reservation, a new offer by the 'lessor' has come in to place and the 'lessor' is bound on this offer for 1 week . If this offer is not accepted by explicit and separate declaration (e.g. payment of the travel costs and down payment) by the customer within the stated period, it will be regarded as rejected.

Please notify us of any  errors in your reservation confirmation immediately as subsequent late notification on site cannot be resolved easily. Each change of services requires a new written reservation confirmation .

Please pay the entire amount of the bill to the given date for payment in time. Only after the receipt of payment, will You get the service voucher entitling you to receive the booked services without further payment on site. If no timely or no payment of the rental price at all is effected, we are entitled to cancel the reservation without further request for payment.

 

Cancellation Costs:

If a reservation is confirmed & subsequently cancelled the following cancellation costs will result, as long as no other cancellation conditions were agreed upon:

Every 'Tenant' may withdraw from a bike rental. In this case, “Zypernbike” can demand  appropriate recompense: 

Up to 60 days prior to the  rental date, 20% of the rental price with a minumum charge of  50,00€

From the 59th to the 30th day prior rental date, 40% of the rental price with a minimum charge of 60,00€

From the 29th to the 22nd day prior rental date, 60% of the rental price  with a minimum charge of 70,00€ 

From the 21st to the 15th day prior rental date, 70% of the rental price  with a minimum charge of 80,00€

From the 14th to the 7th day prior rental date, 80% of the rental price  with a minimum charge of 90,00€ 

From the 6th day prior to rental date on, 90% of the rental price. 

If Cancellation is effected on the rental date or by non-appearance of the customer, the full rental price is payable as recompense.

For bike rentals for groups of 5 persons or more, special conditions may be available on request. These conditions will always be confirmed in writing. Please contact us for details.
