Your first choice for a perfect, combined, cycling & Family holiday in Cyprus
Just how fit do I need to be?
We hope to ride at a pace suited to all riders on each ride. This means you need to be an experienced road cyclist with a good degree of bike fitness and stamina. However it is not necessary to be extremely fit. You should be comfortable riding 40 miles +. Most gradiants are about 6-8%. You should be ready for rides lasting up to 8 hours, although again this is the exception as most rides are shorter. If you have an exisiting health issue you must consult your docter before booking. Each ride has mileage and climbing listed, please ensure you are comfortable with this before joining a day ride or Tour.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions we get prior to booking. Pleae feel free to contact us with any questions you may have at any time.

No not at all. we ride at a good steady pace and nobody is ever dropped. Each group sets it's own pace and on guided rides your guide will set the pace to ensure the ride completes before sunset.

Do I need my Garmin?
Not if you are joining a guided tour, however self guided groups will need to bring their own Garmin units for .gpx files we provide via E Mail for downloading from Your own computer.
What is the Weather really like?
As cyclists our weather needs are somewhat different to non cyclists. On Cyprus however we enjoy superb Sunshine for most of the year. The Summer months are extremely hot and we avoid riding during the months of June July & August. Compared to mainland Europe and the UK we are able to Ride almost every day during the rest of the Year. Contrary to popular myth it can actually rain here and as such we advise you bring your light weight rain cycle jacket & a base layer just in case. If you are in any doubt as to what to bring just contact us prior to arrival.
What is the best arrival time for airport transfers in Cyprus?
Airport transfers are only available for afternoon and early evening arrivals. Please do not book a flight
arriving in the early hours as it simply affects everybodies ability to ride the next morning.
Do You insure me?
No. You must arrange your own insurance. Please read the terms and conditions for further information.
Will You fix My Bike if it breaks?
As an experienced Cyclist You will be able to repair most things on Your own Bike, such as Punctures & simple adjustments & We will assist where possible. There is access to a Local mechanic (not included) should You wish. Please have a good read of the Important Information section for further details.
Do I need to bring an adaptor plug with me?
No. At Caesar Resort all the power sockets are three pin UK style.

Dialling Codes
To call a phone in North Cyprus from elsewhere you need to dial 0090 followed by either the code for landline numbers: 392 or for mobiles 542 or 533.
There are two mobile service providers in North Cyprus; KKTC Telsim which uses the 542 prefix and Turkcell which uses 533.
Mobile numbers are usually supplied with the necessary code to facilitate access.
When dialling from North Cyprus to the UK enter 0044 followed by the number required with the deletion of the initial zero.
What about medical care?
If you have an accident, or have a medical emergency, you can visit one of the state hospitals in Kyrenia, Famagusta or Lefkosa. Private hospitals are also found in most towns. There is also a good GP in Iskele just behind Caesar Resort.
Minor cuts and bruises will be treated usually free of charge in the state hospitals. However, major medical treatment can incur a hefty bill and it is essential that you take out comprehensive insurance cover for your holiday, and that your insurance covers you for Turkey as well as Europe. Please ensure that any pre-existing medical conditions that you may have are notified to the insurance company prior to travel. Failure to notify them may well render the insurance cover null and void.
Please note that the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is NOT accepted in North Cyprus.
What are the best Tyres for Cyprus?
Tyres are of course a riders own preference, however it is important to avoid unecessary punctures on group rides caused by race light tyres with inadequate puncture protection. Please see the important information page for further comment.
